Honest note: clay pebbles float when bone dry. Soak them for an hour before planting so they settle and wick properly instead of bobbing up around the stem.

Do I need to rinse the pebbles first?
They come pre-washed, but a quick rinse before first use clears any fine dust that could cloud your reservoir.
Are the pebbles really reusable?
Yes. Rinse and sterilize between grows with a mild peroxide soak and they last for years.
